Training Services

As for the training sessions, the main goals are to master the effectiveness and ease of use of EvalTools® and how easy it is to integrate EvalTools® in your outcomes assessment process. With your invitation, we can meet with students, faculty, and administrators, as well as provide in-class demonstrations. In addition, we are able to work with you to develop tools and report features to meet your specific needs.

We provide on-site or on-line training services to universities in a full-day session. A CD that contains the training material will be provided. Your university is free to reproduce as many soft or hard copies as appropriate for training purposes. We are flexible to customize the content of training as needed for you. The following are some typical session topics:

  • Basics of EvalTools® --- Introduction to the concept of EvalTools®; Setting up a typical course evaluation survey; Setting up a create-your-own format survey; Administering an existing survey; Reporting features and etc.
  • Planning of a survey --- Planning a survey; How to use Eval Tools to achieve outcomes assessment; How to set up and manage a multiple-department survey.
  • Faculty/Chair Training --- Faculty and Chair will be guided through the steps to access their own survey or set up their own questionnaires on an existing common survey. Chairs are trained on features pertain to their functions.
 
Survey Site Hosting for EvalTools

To make your online survey easy, we provide an EvalTools® hosting service for you. The following features are provided if you would like us to host and manage your EvalTools® at our site.

Installation and Maintenance

We will work together with your Information Technology (IT) staff to determine the minimum system requirements. We will assist in installation of the software as well as develop data transfer scripts between EvalTools® and your existing databases. Included as part of the contract, we provide unlimited technical support to assist you in resolving issues related to EvalTools®.
